George Doukidis

Georgios I. Doukidis is Professor of e-Business in the Department of Management Science and Technol-ogy at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He holds an MSc and PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE) where he taught in the 90s. He is the Director of ELTRUN -the larg-est eBusiness Research Center of all European Business Schools- that has participated successfully in more than 40 international R&D projects with leading Universities and global companies. His work has been recognized internationally in awards such as the European Microsoft Retail Application Devel-opment (RAD) award, the European Case Study Award in “Knowledge, Information and Communica-tion Systems Management” category and the European ECR award in “Retail Innovation with Business Analytics”. In the last 30 years he has acted as consultant or board member in more than 50 local or international organizations in the fields of business development, innovation and re-engineering, e-business, business analytics and new entrepreneurship. He was the first chairman of TANEO (the Greek New Economy Fund of Funds) and currently is board member of the Athens Stock Exchange.
