Gkinis George

George holds an MSc in Finance from Athens Laboratory of Business Administration (ALBA) and an MSC in Economics from University of Amsterdam. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Ιnternational and European Economics from University of Macedonia.
Possesses a deep knowledge in Reg-tech/Fin-tech applications with a focus on the offering of investment products and services and has a long experience in product management of complex financial instruments.
Since 2006, has served in various roles first in Citibank Greece and later in Alpha Bank, acting as Project Manager of the Investment Advisory Applications, Senior Product Manager of Structured Products and Business Co-Owner on various investment products and services regulatory projects (MiFID II, PRIIPs and SDFR).
George leads the implementation of the Investment Product Governance Policy for Alpha Bank. He has designed and manages Alpha Bank’s investment product database, which implements the regulations regarding Target Market and Governance of investment products in general.
Since 2021, George conducts the efforts to promote investment products with a positive social and environmental impact (impact investments).
